A fast growing company in the prediction markets industry is looking for a Head of Markets to build and lead its global markets function. Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, you'll own the complete market lifecycle, from deciding which markets launch, to market structure, liquidity, resolution, and long-term market integrity. This is a rare opportunity to help shape one of the most exciting emerging financial asset classes while working at the forefront of on-chain markets.
$250,000–$400,000 per year
Lead the teams responsible for market selection, liquidity, operations, and market resolution.
Define market listing strategy based on trading demand, event significance, and long-term engagement.
Develop frameworks for evaluating new market opportunities across politics, economics, sports, technology, culture, and global events.
Design market structures including fee models, incentives, rebates, and trading parameters that encourage deep, sustainable liquidity.
Build and manage relationships with market makers, trading firms, liquidity providers, and institutional counterparties.
Create liquidity programs that attract and retain long-term capital.
Work with external partners across media, sports, politics, and other industries to ensure markets can be launched and resolved with confidence.
Build scalable operational processes for launching, maintaining, and resolving thousands of markets.
Safeguard market integrity and maintain a trusted, transparent trading environment.
10+ years of experience in financial markets.
Experience leading a markets function at an exchange, trading venue, or similar financial institution, or a senior position on a sell-side trading desk.
Deep understanding of market microstructure, including liquidity, spreads, fee design, incentives, and market quality.
Strong understanding of how market structure drives participation and capital formation.
Experience working with market governance, market integrity, or high-stakes market resolution.
Established relationships with market makers, trading firms, and liquidity providers.
Experience navigating periods of significant market volatility with sound commercial judgment.
Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams in a fast-moving environment.
Experience with prediction markets, derivatives, binary options, or exchange infrastructure.
Existing relationships across the quantitative trading and market making ecosystem.
Experience building markets within emerging asset classes.
Previous experience in a high-growth fintech, crypto, or startup environment.
$300,000 to $400,000 base salary.
